PRINCESS Cruises has hit out at claims that 16,000 people could have been affected by gastro.
The strong show of force comes after Shine Lawyers claimed that a huge number of pax could be eligible for compensation under a planned class action to be launch.
A Princess spokesperson told TD that the claims were “absurd” as the cruise line leaves nothing to chance in regards to maintaining a healthy onboard environment.
“The risk of becoming ill while on a cruise holiday is tiny – in fact, a factor of just 0.02%”.
