FLIGHT Centre has been dragged into the controversy around the failed “Fyre Festival”, according to a report in the Australian Financial Review.
The collapsed mega event, which is the subject of a popular Netflix documentary, was to involve a host of high profile performers taking part in a weekend of lavish indulgence on a Caribbean island.
A trustee for the company is seeking to reclaim about US$121,000 in unused travel from Flight Centre, which says it booked the services as requested.
