PETER Nilsson has been appointed as the Managing Director at Laucula
Island, a private island located in the Fijian Pacific archipelago. Nilsson
joins from the Ritz-Carlton hotel company in Malaysia.
Travelport has welcomed Mark Meehan as Managing Director for the
company’s newly formed Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region.
Meehan was previously Managing Director for Travelport’s APAC region.
Chan Bee Hong has stepped into the role of Senior Vice President for
Finance at the Pan Pacific Hotels Group. In the role, Bee Hong will be
responsible for the company’s finance and information tech functions.
Hayman Island by Intercontinental has announced the appointment
of Mark Eleter as its Resort Manager. Eleter brings more than 20 years’
experience to the role, including most recently as Vice President &
Regional Director of Operations at Karma Group in Asia.
Tom Mooney is set to step into the role of Managing Director for the
Pacific Region at Avis Budget Group, effective 01 Oct. He will be in
charge of all regional group operations and activities for the company.
TFE Hotels has welcomed Jeremy Nordkamp as General Manager
at Brisbane’s Calile Hotel. Nordkamp brings more than 10 years’
experience in hospitality management to the property, which is slated
to open its doors at the end of Sep.
