Singapore’s Mandai Wildlife Reserve has unveiled Curiosity Cove, the nation’s largest indoor nature-inspired playscape, designed for children aged three to 12. Spanning 4,600 square metres, this innovative space allows young explorers to embark on imaginative adventures through four nature-themed zones: Wetlands, Forestlands, Grasslands, and Drylands. Each zone is crafted to mimic real-world ecosystems, providing a multi-sensory experience that encourages children to move like wildlife and see the world through their eyes.
Over the past decade, Mandai Wildlife Reserve has transformed into a leading wildlife and nature destination, featuring attractions such as Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild. Curiosity Cove adds to this suite of offerings, enhancing the ways visitors can connect with nature. “The vibrant features make each play experience fun and stimulating,” said a representative from Mandai Wildlife Group.
The playscape includes over 30 multi-sensory touchpoints designed to engage children’s cognitive, social, and motor development. Activities range from crawling through a ‘snake’s belly’ to climbing an orangutan tree-bed platform. This indoor facility complements the outdoor wildlife parks, allowing year-round adventures regardless of weather conditions.
Curiosity Cove opened on 21 November 2025, with tickets priced at $48 (US$48) for one child, including complimentary entry for an accompanying adult. The Mandai Wildlife Reserve continues to expand, with future developments like the second phase of Rainforest Wild and Exploria, a multimedia attraction offering digital expeditions. These initiatives aim to deepen connections with nature and inspire a lifelong love for wildlife among the younger generation.
