QANTAS has expanded its code-share deal with China Airlines (CI), now enabling QF customers the opportunity to travel non-stop to Taipei in Premium Economy on the Qantas code.
The Australian carrier currently codeshares with CI on its direct flights to Taipei from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, with China Airlines utilising four-class Airbus A350s on the routes, fitted with a Premium Economy cabin.
New Qantas Premium Economy fares have gone on sale this week, for travel between SYD-TPE from 20 Feb and MEL-TPE & BNE-TPE from 25 Mar, subject to govt and regulatory approvals.

MEANWHILE, QF has confirmed it provides the quickest service between Sydney and New York (via DFW) with a time of 20:16 hours, 10 minutes faster than United’s new offering to Newark via Houston (TD yesterday).
