SCOTRAIL, Scotland’s national railway provider, has announced plans for a major push on the group travel market in 2018.
The move comes as sales for its Gateway to Scotland tourism passes experience strong sales growth year-on-year.
Jill Hampton has recently been appointed as ScotRail’s first dedicated account manager to help handle the ticket influx.
“We are seeing a rise in enquiries from group travel planners, keen to use rail to enhance their customer offering,” Hampton said.
