TD breaking news – Carstensen resigns from Helloworld Travel

John Constable to take over responsibility for Air Tickets business. 

Helloworld Travel has just confirmed the resignation of Russell Carstensen, Group General Manager of Corporate and Air Tickets.

Carstensen was appointed to the role in 2012, and has more than 25 years of experience in the air ticket consolidation business. He has managed the Air Services division within Helloworld since 2010 and was also head of QBT.

Helloworld said as a result of the resignation, John Constable, Group General Manager Retail & Commercial, will also take responsibility for the Air Tickets business.

Nick Sutherland, currently Group General Manager QBT, will take over responsibilities for the company’s corporate businesses, and will join the Helloworld Executive Management Team.

HLO ceo Andrew Burnes thanked Carstensen for his contribution to the business over many years and wished him well for the future.
