Greg McCarthy to become CTM ceo for Australia and New Zealand.
Corporate Travel Management has just announced the acquisition of SCT Travel Group Pty Ltd, which trades as Platinum Travel Corporation in Queensland and NSW.
CTM described SCT as “a renowned Australian boutique agency that has an excellent reputation for customer service and a culture very similar to CTM”.
SCT was founded by industry veteran Greg McCarthy, who will become ceo of Corporate Travel Management ANZ, based in the company’s Sydney office and reporting into Laura Ruffles.
The $5 million plus earn-out deal, which will become effective from 01 July 2018, also includes the acquisition of the PTC Corporate and Events business in Queensland and NSW.
Platinum Travel Corporation is a member of the Magellan Travel Group, which was acquired by Helloworld earlier this year.
