The Travel Junction to link external travel sellers to FCTG’s global procurement business.
Flight Centre has just announced the creation of a new division within its global product business, with the aim of servicing the business-to-business (B2B) travel market with direct access to the group’s “unique and highly valued broad range of contracted products”.
Dubbed “The Travel Junction – Connecting You” the division will act as an intermediary for travel sellers outside of the traditional Flight Centre retail brands, giving access to the company’s wide range of directly contracted hotels, tours, experiences and cruise products.
The initiative is being led by General Manager James Whiting, who said “The Travel Junction offers a single distribution point with superior customer focused service to guide our partners through the entire product journey.
“This brand will be the face of FCTG’s strategic move into the world of product accessibility for businesses outside of the group, with a core focus on responsible partnerships, superior customer experience, support and personalised service,” he said.
The Travel Junction’s offerings will be showcased at the upcoming World Travel Market taking place in London 04-06 November 2019.
