Diversified Communications purchases Luxperience luxury travel trade forum.
NEWLINE
Helen Logas has just confirmed the sale of Luxperience to US-owned company Diversified Communications Australia, for an undisclosed sum.
NEWLINE
Logas created Luxperience in 2012 with the aim of raising the profile of some of the world’s unique travel experiences and products and connecting them to “elite travel buyers and corporate meeting organisers from around the globe”.
NEWLINE
It’s not the first major deal for Logas, who established corporate TMC Travelcorp Australia in 1994 and sold it in a multi-million dollar deal 17 years later into the Corporate Travel Management float.
NEWLINE
“I’m quite emotional about selling Luxperience as it has been a major part of my life for the past six years,” she said.
NEWLINE
Diversified Communications Australia general manager David Longman said he was excited at the acquisition, and confirmed that the majority of the current Luxperience team would transition to Diversified.
