Dreamliner to debut ex Brisbane on 01 September 2018.
Qantas has just released details of its newest Boeing 787-9 route, with daily Dreamliner flights from Brisbane to Los Angeles to kick off on 01 Sep.
Fares for the route go on sale today, with the 787 replacing the Boeing 747-400 currently operating from Brisbane. The Dreamliner will continue on as QF11/12 to New York, carrying passengers connecting from Sydney and Melbourne services as well as from Brisbane.
Between September and December 2018, the daily Brisbane-Los Angeles 787 service will be complemented by up to three weekly 747 flights to meet seasonal demand.
Once QF receives its eighth Dreamliner by the end of 2018 it will phase out the 747 operation and replace it with a second year-round 787 service operating four times per week.
