The theme park’s popularity was particularly strong among travellers from the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Thailand, with June being the peak month for searches. This surge in interest was partly driven by a partnership between Hong Kong Disneyland and Agoda, which offered enhanced rates for users.
Agoda’s list of top-searched activities also includes Universal Studios Singapore, Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, Aquaria KLCC in Malaysia, and Tokyo Skytree in Japan. These attractions reflect the diverse interests of travellers across Asia, who are increasingly seeking iconic and immersive experiences.
Andrew Smith, Senior Vice President of Supply at Agoda, emphasised the importance of offering a wide range of options: “Having a wide array of not just accommodations and flight options, but of activities and experiences as well is vital for a one-stop travel platform like Agoda.” He noted that the number of activities available on Agoda has grown significantly, reinforcing the platform’s commitment to affordability and accessibility.
As 2025 comes to a close, Agoda continues to expand its offerings, allowing customers to book over 400,000 activities across 22 markets, alongside more than 6 million holiday properties and 130,000 flight routes. This expansion underscores Agoda’s dedication to helping travellers explore the world for less.
