HBX Group just released its 2025 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, marking a significant step in its commitment to transparency and responsible governance.
The report, published on 16 December, incorporates disclosures aligned with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), reflecting enhanced control and oversight processes.
HBX’s 2025 report introduces a full calculation of HBX Group’s carbon footprint, totalling 1,486,482 tCO₂e, with 99.9 percent of emissions originating from Scope 3 activities.
This establishes 2025 as the baseline year for the company’s climate strategy, as HBX Group has also outlined its decarbonisation plan and 2030 reduction targets for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, alongside initiatives to better understand and mitigate its Scope 3 footprint.
Governance in 2025
In governance, the report details how ESG indicators have been integrated into long-term incentive structures and decision-making processes.
The company has also implemented an ISO 14001-certified Environmental Management System from its Mallorca headquarters.
The report highlights HBX Group’s global workforce of 3,478 employees, with a 1.1% adjusted global gender pay gap, significantly below the average reported by IBEX 35 companies.
CEO Nicolas Huss stated, “Our ESG Report reflects the real progress we are making in our sustainability strategy and the level of transparency we aim to offer our stakeholders.”
Looking forward, HBX Group plans to expand its sustainable portfolio by 13% over the next three years, further embedding sustainability into its products and services.
The company continues to drive positive impact through initiatives like Think Big and Guides for Good, reinforcing its commitment to long-term responsible growth.
