Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced the expansion of their Christmas Markets programme for Winter 2026/2027, introducing a new route from Birmingham Airport to Copenhagen. This addition comes in response to growing demand for festive breaks, offering travellers the chance to explore the Danish capital’s renowned Christmas markets.
Starting from 19 November to 20 December 2026, the new service will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. This schedule provides customers and travel agents in the Midlands with increased flexibility and options for planning their winter getaways. Copenhagen, known for its enchanting Nyhavn market and the magical Tivoli Gardens, promises a whimsical festive experience.
With this expansion, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will now offer flights to eight Christmas market destinations from Birmingham, including Budapest, Cologne, Gdansk, Krakow, Prague, Tallinn, and Vienna. This move significantly increases the number of available seats to over 55,000, catering to the high demand for European festive destinations.
