Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, reported a robust operational performance in November 2025, with a 27% increase in passenger numbers compared to the same month last year. The airline transported 603,351 passengers and operated 4,376 flights, achieving a load factor of 87%. This growth reflects strong passenger demand and efficient capacity management.
The airline’s performance marks a notable improvement from November 2024, when it carried 474,917 passengers and operated 3,996 flights, with a load factor of 74.8%. Gulf Air’s CEO, Martin Gauss, attributed the success to “strong demand, effective capacity planning, and reliable operations,” emphasising the airline’s commitment to sustainable growth and enhancing the travel experience.
As Gulf Air enters a seasonally stronger travel period, it remains focused on maintaining operational reliability and service quality. The airline’s efforts align with Bahrain’s broader aviation ambitions, positioning the country as a key regional aviation hub.
Established in 1950, Gulf Air operates to over 50 destinations worldwide and has been recognised as a “Five-Star Major Airline” by APEX for 2026. With a fleet that includes Boeing 787 and Airbus A320/A321 aircraft, the airline continues to build momentum across its network.
