Since then, he has continued to strengthen his international portfolio, taking on senior leadership roles with several prestigious hospitality groups.
His return signifies an exciting new chapter for the hotel as it continues to uphold its reputation for service excellence and innovation.

Getting to know Douglas Glen
In his new role, Glen will oversee all operational and financial aspects of the 386-key upscale business hotel, driving strategic growth while maintaining the hallmark standards of hospitality excellence that guests have come to expect.
He brings with over three decades of distinguished hospitality experience to his new post, having held senior positions at world-renowned properties including The Regent Hotel Group in Hua Hin, The Royal Cliff Hotels Group in Pattaya, The Steigenberger Riverside Bangkok, The Landmark Bangkok, and The Landmark London.
His extensive global background, combined with a deep understanding of Carlton City Hotel Singapore’s culture and team dynamics, positions him perfectly to lead the property to greater success.
Born and raised in Scotland, Glen began his hospitality journey in London after completing his Hotel and Catering studies.
His career includes stints at a number of iconic establishments, from Grosvenor House and The Royal Lancaster to The Hyatt Carlton Tower and The London Hilton on Park Lane. At The Landmark London,
Glen rose through the ranks to become hotel manager before taking on the general manager role at The Landmark Bangkok, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the hotel’s profitability and brand influence.
