Dubai International (DXB) has opened its doors to over 1,500 young athletes from 35 countries for the Asian Youth Para Games 2025. The event, running from 10 to 13 December, highlights DXB’s commitment to accessibility and inclusive services, with full operational readiness across its three terminals.

The airport has deployed specialised People of Determination (PoD) teams and conducted pre-event awareness sessions for staff to ensure a seamless experience for all delegations. Majed Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Airports, emphasised the importance of accessibility, stating, “Accessibility shapes how we design and deliver every part of the airport journey.”

This year’s Games, the largest in its history, will feature 11 sports across eight venues, reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a global hub for Para sport. Dubai Airports employees are volunteering to support the athletes, reflecting the organisation’s dedication to inclusion for People of Determination in the UAE.

The 2025 edition marks the second time Dubai hosts the Games, following a successful event in 2017. This initiative not only underscores DXB’s operational excellence but also its role in promoting inclusivity and accessibility on a global stage.
