WebBeds recently appointed Germán Cueva as its new senior vice-president for structured partnerships.
In this newly created role, Cueva will lead the development of next-generation contracting and partnership structures.
At the same time, he will be working closely with the company’s senior leadership team to redefine how WebBeds collaborates with its partners across the global travel ecosystem.
The new executive will be reporting directly to Web Travel Group managing director John Guscic.
Guscic himself said of Cueva: “Germán’s experience at the intersection of strategy, transformation, and travel innovation makes him a powerful addition to our leadership team. His deep industry knowledge and commercial acumen will play a key role as we evolve our contracting and partnership models to support the next phase of growth.”
Getting to know Germán Cueva
Cueva’s appointment reinforces WebBeds’ ongoing commitment to strengthening its partner ecosystem and investing in new models that enhance value creation for both suppliers and clients.
He brings extensive international experience in strategy, transformation, M&A, and travel operations, having held senior roles across some of the world’s most respected consulting and travel organisations.
His distinguished career includes the following occupations:
- Partner at PwC, where he led the Strategy Practice and also served as CFO and COO of the Spanish firm
- Junior Partner at BCG, advising leading companies on strategic growth
- Head of M&A and Transformation at HBG, where he drove major organisational change initiatives
Cueva holds an MBA from Columbia University and a degree in Electronic Engineering, combining analytical precision with strategic foresight.
