Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will lead a record delegation of 60 tech companies to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas from 6 to 9 January. This unprecedented participation underscores Hong Kong’s status as a global innovation and technology hub.
The delegation will feature a dual-pavilion showcase, highlighting five key sectors: advanced materials, sustainability, AI and data, digital transformation, electronics and robotics, and life and health. The Hong Kong Tech Pavilion will be divided into two zones: Eureka Park for emerging startups and the Global Pavilion for established enterprises.
Three Hong Kong companies have already been honoured with CES 2026 Innovation Awards. Point Fit Technology Limited’s non-invasive sweat lactate monitoring patch, Eieling Technology Limited’s 30-second liver fat diagnosis device, and Widemount Dynamics Tech Limited’s AI-powered firefighting robot are among the innovations set to capture global attention.
Derek Chim, Head of Startup Ecosystem and Development at HKSTP, highlighted the significance of CES, stating, “CES is an influential global event for IT. Last year, the Hong Kong Tech Pavilion attracted over 16,000 visitors and generated over $12,800,000 (HK$100 million) in business opportunities.”
Iris Wong, Director of Merchandise Trade and Innovation at HKTDC, added, “Promoting Hong Kong’s innovation and technology sector to expand into international markets is a key focus for us. The Hong Kong Technology Pavilion at CES is an ideal springboard to assist Hong Kong’s tech enterprises in going global.”
This initiative aims to bolster Hong Kong’s role as a superconnector in international technology exchange and market integration, offering local tech companies a platform to transform ideas into globally competitive innovations.
