AMERICAN Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has completed its acquisition of Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), five months after announcing the 410 million deal (TD 12 Feb).
“The combination of American Express GBT and HRG will provide clients and travellers with an unrivalled offering,” said GBT ceo Doug Anderson.
“I look forward to integrating our companies and combining the vast experience and expertise of both,” he said.
HRG ceo David Radcliffe, who joins the GBT board as a result of the deal, said he looked forward to “growing a best-in-class travel management company”.
Integration of the two companies has now begun, with the HRG brand to remain in place while changes take place.
