According to a new study, the most expensive European city to attend Taylor Swift’s Eras tour have been revealed, with Zurich being named the most expensive city on the tour.
Betting company Jeffbet investigated which European cities on Taylor Swift’s Eras tour are the most expensive to attend. They did this by examining the average cost of a hotel for one night, the price of a meal in a mid-range restaurant, the cost of a bottle of water, and the cost of a five-mile taxi journey.
A total cost was then calculated, and each city was ranked from the most expensive to the cheapest.
- Zurich – Total cost: £182.52 (€213.66)
Zurich has been named the most expensive European city to attend Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, with the night costing a total of £182.52 (€213.66).
The average cost for one night in a hotel is £118 (€138.13), the most expensive price compared to the other European cities. The cost of a meal at a mid-range restaurant is £22.52 (€26.36), the most expensive on the list. A five-mile taxi ride in Zurich will cost you £42 (€49.17), the most expensive price on this list.

A spokesperson for Jeffbet commented on these findings, saying: “Getting your hands on tickets for Taylor Swift’s Eras tour seemed impossible, with over 3.5 million people registering for UK and Ireland tickets and only an estimated 750,000 tickets available. A reported three million queued for tickets in Germany, 600,000 registered for the show in Warsaw, and 95,000 tickets for the Zurich show sold out in 30 minutes.
“With ticket prices ranging from around £58 to £196, and some reselling for over £600, many fans will want to save money on the other expenses that need to be covered when attending a concert, especially if you plan to travel to another part of Europe.
“This study provides a clear insight into what financial factors should be considered when attending a concert, the most important being the cost of accommodation. Zurich was the most expensive for a hotel, with one night costing an average of £183.74 (€214.56). Surprisingly, Dublin was the joint second most expensive, with one night costing an average of £103 (€120.27).”
