FLIGHT Centre has confirmed a new preferred supplier deal with Chimu Adventures, with the agreement set to make the specialist the FCTG’s “one-stop-shop” for the polar regions.
Chimu, which is 50% owned by Intrepid Group (TD 15 Aug 2017), will also offer product in Latin America, where it specialises in fully flexible, guaranteed F.I.T. itineraries through its own operations on the ground.
The company also offers small ship cruising in the Amazon, Galapagos Islands and Patagonia.
“Chimu will help the Flight Centre Travel Group make selling Polar and Latin America product easy by providing training sessions, incentives, industry-renowned famils, events and access to Chimu’s marketing material,” according to the firm’s co-founder Chad Carey.
“We are so happy to be preferred with the Flight Centre Travel Group and look forward to the opportunities that it will bring both parties,” he said.
