MARRIOTT International is the latest travel conglomerate to throw its support behind the planned alliance between Qantas and American Airlines.
In a letter to the US Dept of Transportation, the hotelier’s head of strategic projects, global procurement Bradley Colton urged approval be granted for the transPacific joint venture to “improve competition”.
Additional letters of support were submitted by Arizona State University, Cornell University, Rotary International and the Royal New Zealand Navy.
