QANTAS has confirmed Hong Kong as the next destination for its Boeing 787-9 aircraft, starting this Dec.
The 787 will initially fly to HKG from Melbourne up to six days per week from 13 Dec to 29 Mar.
It will fly once per week from Brisbane from 19 Dec, increasing to twice weekly from 30 Jan.
The Dreamliner will then launch on the Sydney-Hong Kong route on 30 Mar, operating six days.
Other services will be on existing A330s and A380s.
