Helloworld Travel Limited has just announced the completion of the sale of its 33.3% stake in US-based outbound wholesaler Down Under Answers.
HLO ceo Andrew Burnes said that while the investment and proceeds from the sale are not material, the transaction is “an important strategic step in the ongoing process of streamlining the group and disposing of non-core investments”.
Down Under Answers has signed a three year exclusive agreement with Helloworld’s Australian and NZ inbound business, AOT Inbound Pty Limited.
“We look forward to continuing to work with the team at Down Under Answers in providing them with our great products and services in Australia and New Zealand,” Burnes said.
