PAKISTAN International Airlines has flagged its intention to cease flights to the US from 31 Oct.
The airline has cited continual financial loss as the reason, haemorrhaging Rs1.25 billion ($15.3m) annually.
PIA has been flying to the US since 1961 without any major disruption and was more recently making five weekly flights to New York and three other US cities.
