Mayflower Tours to join Scenic.
Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has announced an expansion in the North American market with the purchase of American operator Mayflower Tours.
The new acquisition will operate as a separate entity named Mayflower Cruise & Tours, with the same executive team based outside Chicago.
Scenic says the purchase will offer Mayflower greater access to river and ocean itineraries offered by both Scenic and sister brand Emerald Waterways, while at the same time giving Scenic and Emerald access to land-based tours that can be joined with their cruise offerings.
