PROVERBIALLY, to go to jail is to do some ‘hard time’, but perhaps that perception has been given a shake recently by The Ritz-Carlton Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, with the luxury hotel temporarily being used to house dozens of suspects including princes and businessmen.
Forming part of an anti-corruption sweep, suspects have been corralled into first class suites at the Ritz-Carlton and other high-end hotels while the investigation takes place.
Officials haven’t commented on the prospect of some detainees being sentenced to a long stretch of jacuzzi time.
